Student Programs
Meaningful watershed educational experiences that put local students in the marsh with real equipment.
About the program
How it works
Students from Worcester County and beyond take part in field investigations in their own watershed — seining, water quality testing, marsh walks and boat-based study of the bays.
Programs align with Maryland's environmental literacy requirements and are designed as meaningful watershed educational experiences, ending with students taking an action of their own.
Support the bays
Become a member of the Coastal Bays Foundation
Your contribution goes toward protecting the watershed, its habitat and its wildlife — monitoring crews on the water, marsh replanted at eroding shorelines, and students in the field. The Maryland Coastal Bays Program Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; all donations are tax deductible.
