About the program
How it works
Teachers get further than any single field trip can. Educator workshops build local content knowledge — the five watersheds, the species, the data — and give teachers protocols and materials they can run themselves.
Support includes help planning field investigations, loaner equipment, and curriculum-linked resources drawn from the program's own monitoring data.

Your contribution goes toward protecting the watershed, its habitat and its wildlife — monitoring crews on the water, marsh replanted at eroding shorelines, and students in the field. The Maryland Coastal Bays Program Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; all donations are tax deductible.
