Community Programs
Guided paddles, talks, workshops and citizen science for residents and visitors of every age.
About the program
How it works
Community programming is how most people first meet the Coastal Bays: a guided paddle through a marsh creek, a shoreline walk, an evening talk, or a hands-on workshop on rain gardens and native planting.
Programs are designed to move people along a path — from curiosity, to understanding, to taking part in monitoring, restoration or advocacy.
Support the bays
Become a member of the Coastal Bays Foundation
Your contribution goes toward protecting the watershed, its habitat and its wildlife — monitoring crews on the water, marsh replanted at eroding shorelines, and students in the field. The Maryland Coastal Bays Program Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; all donations are tax deductible.
